Accessibility at Knott’s Berry Farm

If you’re disabled, have sensory issues, have food allergies or intolerances, and/or you’re Neurodivergent, I’ve got you. I want to help you have a good time at Knott’s. If you have questions, please ask me by leaving a comment.

Knott’s has a program that allows guests with mobility restrictions or cognitive impairment to access attractions. Visit Guest Services. They will ask some questions to ensure that the rider has the required physical criteria in order to safely experience attractions. After that chat the Guest Services Associate will provide the appropriate Pass and details needed to take part in the program. For a complete listing of guidelines, please download Knott’s Guest Assistance Guide.

Guests who plan to return to Knott’s should request to have their information logged so that issuing the Pass goes as quickly as possible.

Do you have a kiddo who cannot go on a ride? Did you know that Knott’s has a rider swap?? Knott’s Rider Swap program is a fantastic opportunity to allow for both parents to ride even attractions and to still attend to their child. Rider Swap allows one parent to ride while another parent waits with the child. When the ride is complete, the parents swap child responsibility at the ride exit.

Do you need a place to take medication or test blood sugar or take insulin etc. Did you know that guests who may need a little more privacy are welcome to come to First Aid for help. They can provide a comfortable environment for Guests to take care of medical needs, and if you wish, with the help of trained First Aid Associates.

Overwhelmed by the crowds or noise? Many of the stores and restaurant seating areas can provide a quieter place for Guests who may need some time away from the livelier parts of the park and an opportunity to decompress. In addition, guests are welcome to visit the First Aid office for a quiet room. The Knott’s Marketplace also provides a few places to relax, including some excellent seating near the firepit next to Build-a-Bear Workshop and Starbucks. If any Guest in unable to locate a satisfactory place to decompress, they should come to Guest Services or the Information Center for assistance.

Do you have food intolerances or allergies? Please consult the Food Allergen & Dietary Restriction Guide. It’s also available on Knott’s website and the Knott’s Berry Farm Mobile App. Knott’s is constantly updating our dietary needs information based on our suppliers ability to source products. If you or a member of your group has a severe food allergy, please contact the park at 714-220-5092 and/or email foodquestions@knotts.com prior to visiting for more information about options. I have food intolerances and have found safe food at Prop Shop Pizzeria; Gluten, vegetarian, and vegan friendly options are available upon request. If you have any food issues, I highly recommend Prop Shop Pizzeria. If you have any food allergies, please ask to speak with the chef before you order. I also think the portion sizes are generous here, and they have a great salad selection, so I always eat here.

As a disabled creator, I try to do my best to create content that gives information about accessibility. I spent a long time working on this reel. I hope you got all the information you need in there. Like I said, if you have questions, please leave a comment and I will try to answer you as soon as I can.
